Health Benefits & Frequently Asked Questions
About the Aqualounger Personal Hot Tubs...

What are the differences between Aqualounger and other bath or hot tubs?

Aqualounger Hot Tubs offer a completely laid back feature like no other tub on the market today with an ergonomically designed “neck saddle,” preventing the user from sliding down in the tub.

What are the benefits of the Aqualounger?

Aqualounger is efficient, ergonomically designed, stress relieving, and unparalleled in relaxation. It is the only tub on the market that completely decompresses the entire spinal column while immersed in soothing hot water.

Where does the water come in at?

Aqualounger fills like any other tub. You can use any faucet on the market including side faucets.

What are the buttons on the bottom of the Aqualounger hot tub?

The buttons on the bottom of the hot tub are the low-profile jet caps. You won’t even feel them under you while using the tub.

Do the buttons pop up when in use?

The buttons don’t pop up during use. The caps are however individually adjustable to supply more energy to any given area.

Why air instead of water?

Air has been chosen because it is less regionally forceful than water. The air system also offers a much more thorough full body massage. The main advantage of the air system is that there is NO recirculated water. Because the air system purges itself after every use, there is no gray water build-up in the plumbing. This means that the air system is hygienically superior to most water circulation systems.

Can it be a shower stall too?

The Aqualounger drop-in style can easily be converted to a combination shower stall/bath unit.

Does the blower motor need a designated circuit?

The blower motor is 115 volt, 7 amp unit. In most cases, a designated circuit is not needed. 220v is available for European applications.

Will it noticeably raise my electric bill to run the hot tub?

No. There is not an appreciable increase in your electrical bill with the Aqualounger.

Does it use chemicals, covers, filters or heaters?

Aqualounger requires NO chemicals, covers, filters or heaters. It is a fill, use and drain fixture.

Can bubble baths or oils be used?

Absolutely, without any damage to the system.

Is it difficult to install?

No, it is as easy as a,b,c.

A. Screw base down to subfloor.
B. Connect one 3 strand wire.(110v house current)
C. Connect drain.

What do I get when I order?

A completely ready to install hot tub. You can specify whether you wish to purchase a model that includes jets, or purchase a model that is unjetted. Each unit includes a warranty, user instructions and suggestions.

Who would this appeal to?

Aqualounger appeals to ages 18-88. The younger generation likes it for its soothing affect after a good work-out or sporting event. The middle age group likes it for its luxury, unparalleled stress relief and relaxation. The older generation likes it for its soothing relief of aches and pains, especially arthritis. And, of course, children love it too!

Some of the AquaLounger Unique Features...

The Aqualounger hot tub has been designed to fit virtually all types of users: short, tall, light or heavy. The key to this "one size fits all" us the "Neck Saddle" area. Whatever size you may happen to be, we are all basically the same size from the base of the skull to the top of the shoulders.

This generic shape lets the user relax with total confidence. Many people like to relax in their tubs to the point of falling asleep. With Aqualounger hot tubs, the user can actually doze off and not slip out of the neck saddle area. The jet system has been selected for efficiency, quiet operation and most of all the hygienic benefits. Because there is no recirculated water involved, the Ultra Jet Air SystemTM* is perfectly suited for using bubble baths, oils, bath salts and any aroma therapy. Use of any of these products is encouraged as it enhances the luxury of the Aqualounger hot tubs.

Because the Ultra Jet Air SystemTM purges itself automatically (which means it blows itself clean and dry after every use) it is hygienic. Also, since the air system does not recirculate any water, the user enjoys a fresh bathing experience. The air system pushes pre-heated air to 150 degree heat. This means that the bath water will lose very little of its heat during use. It won’t increase the heat of the water either which allows longer use of the hot tub. Bathing 20-30 minutes will become the norm as you become more familiar with your Aqualounger hot tub.
